Company reaches new milestone as only roofer in San Diego with ESOP agreement

ESCONDIDO, CA; February 20, 2007 — Mayer Roofing, Inc., Southern California’s leading roofing company, has implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to its more than 400 employees, many of whom have been with the company for the 15 years it has been in business. The ESOP agreement distributes shares of Mayer Roofing, Inc. stock to each eligible personnel who will then share in the growth and profits of the company.

“As we’ve grown, it’s obvious to me that our people make our business work,” said Paul Mayer, founder of Mayer Roofing. “This program further allows us to stay dedicated to our customers and people.”

Founders Paul Mayer and David Archer started the Escondido-based company in 1992 and since expanded its offices to Los Angeles, San Fernando, Riverside, and Bakersfield. This year, the company celebrates its 15 year anniversary with the ESOP plan and opening a new office in Sacramento to serve all of California.
