In late 1992, Paul Mayer created Mayer Roofing, Inc. and has made this one of the most outstanding roofing companies in business today. Paul brings over 30 years experience in the roofing business having worked for Archer Roofing, Inc. for many years prior to the start of his own company. Paul works closely with all departments in the company to ensure that his passion for outstanding service to our clients is a priority to all Mayer Roofing, Inc. employees.
"We have been blessed with a great relationship with our customers, throughout the years, and it is important that they know how important they are to each of us," Mayer stated. "We have a strong base of veteran employees who live the company’s desire to always put our best foot forward."
Paul Mayer has also directed the companies growth outside of its’ home base in Escondido and continues today in finding new ways to keep Mayer Roofing, Inc. at the top.
Paul resides in Escondido with Leslie, his wife of 31 years, and they have four children and two grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and outdoor activities. Their two sons also work in the business, Wes in Sales and Danny in Accounting.
James A. Wiese joined Mayer Roofing, Inc. in June 2003 as the Vice President of Risk Management and was promoted to President of the company in June 2005.
Prior to joining the Mayer Roofing team, Jim was with Driver Alliant Insurance Group, from 1992-2003 where he was a Vice-President in the Commercial Insurance Division. Previous to his time with Driver, he was an Account Executive with Home Fed Insurance Services working closely with the construction loan department to provide insurance for construction projects and contractors. He was with Home Fed from l982-l992.
Throughout the years, Jim has been extensively involved with youth sports activities, served on several boards and has been involved in several projects at Escondido High School, where he served as Chairman of the $2.5 million dollar stadium renovation and fundraising project.
Jim and his wife, Nancy, have been married for thirty-two years and have four children and two grandchildren. They currently reside in Escondido and enjoy riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle on weekends and traveling. Two of Jim's sons also work for Mayer Roofing. Trevor works in the Sales Department, and Tyler is a Project Manager for the company.
Marty Stout
Chief Operations Officer
Marty Stout has been in the roofing business since 1975 and, after leading a successful family business, merged his company, HEED Roofers, Inc. with the Mayer family in June of 2000. He now serves as the company COO and is directly responsible for the field operations of the company.
"We are fortunate to have someone of Marty’s caliber and background in our company," said Mayer President Jim Wiese. "He has worked in all areas of this business and fully understanding the needs of our customers and staff."
Marty has been involved in many trade organizations and most recently served as Chairman of the Trade Contractors Council of the CBIA and in 2003 was named the Southern California BIA Volunteer of the Year. He currently is the Roofing Council Chairman for the Cal-PASC IE-OC Chapter. Marty is also involved in his church where he and his family share a passion for helping others in Bible and basic education issues.
He has been married to his wife Debra for the past 24 years, and he has three daughters,two of which work in the Mayer Roofing, Inc. Sales Deaprtment. Emily covers the Inland Empire Area and Heather covers the LA Region. In his spare time, Marty enjoys automobiles and golfing.
Robert Del Real
Vice President
Robert Del Real has been with Mayer Roofing, Inc. since March of 1993, after several years as a roofer and dispatcher with Archer Roofing, Inc. Robert helped to organize the Mayer Production Department in the early days and today handles many of those same responsibilities as a Vice President. Robert oversees the field production, dispatching, material purchasing and equipment areas of the company. He also manages the Quality Assurance and Customer Service departments.
"Robert brings a wide dimension of experience to our management team," said Mayer President Jim Wiese. "He understands the needs of the roofers, on the job, as well as the administration side of the business. His expertise has proven very valuable."
Robert is an avid motorcycle and mountain bike rider and enjoys spending time with family and friends in the desert riding quads or on the slopes skiing. He is also a loyal Charger fan. Robert resides in Escondido and has four children and three grandchildren. His son is also in the construction trade as an electrician, currently working towards his contractors’ license.
Laura Caballero
Vice President
Laura Caballero started with Mayer Roofing, Inc. in 1994 working in the accounting department. Laura had been working on the Mayer Roofing account through the CPA firm she was working with and eventually came on as a full-time employee. She has been in the accounting industry since 1989. Throughout her tenure, with Mayer, Laura has been asked to wear many hats and today she is directly responsible for the company’s Accounting Department and assits the Presidente with the administration of the company. Laura is native to the Escondido area and currently lives in Escondido with her ten-year-old son Isaac. She enjoys traveling and outdoor sports, in particular riding quads in the desert and snow skiing.
Berenice Reyes joined the company in 1998 as the company Receptionist and been trained in many departments within Mayer. She has been instrumental in developing policies and procedures for Job Coordinating, Project Managers and Builders to ensure a smooth process from start to finish. Berenice is a Paralegal and a Notary Public and in April she joined Attorney Garrett Smee to form an in-house legal department. Berenice currently resides in Bonsal with her husband Rafael, and their two children, six-year old Ali and 2-year old Noah. She is also involved in the parent organization at St. Mary’s Church in Escondido.
